Lanie is currently putting the finishing touches to a brand new set of songs that will make up album # 2 to be recorded later this year – stay tuned.

In other news, Lanie will be celebrating Ivy League Record’s ’15 Year Reign of Terror (and Christmas) by playing a good old fashion shindig at The Annandale Hotel on Wednesday 12th December along with her label buds, Alpine, The Mess Hall, The Rubens + more. Nominees for The Age Newspaper’s reader-voted, EG Music Awards were annouced this morning. Lanie is nominated in the category of Best Female. Voting opens on Oct 5th.

And last but definitely not least, Lanie has been nominated for an AIR Award for Best Independent Blues & Roots Album. Winners of the Jagermeister Independent Music Awards will be announced on Oct 16th with Lanie and her band performing on the night.   LLHQ xx

Lanie is nominated in Artisan Award Category of Producer Of The Year for her album ‘To The Horses’. The winner will be announced on Oct 3.

As a special warm up, Lanie will be playing at the excellent Pure Pop Record Store, St Kilda TONIGHT at 7.00pm. Tickets are a mere $10, and are ONLY available at the store, located at 221 Barkly St, St Kilda. They are very nice people, so feel free to call them on (03) 9525 5220 for any further information. They can fit a grand total of 50 people in, so get in there quickly sweet citizens of Melbourne!
